Nyx
In the stories about Nyx no scents are mentioned, so the scent of this soap is inspired by Nyx's sanctuary.
Nyx, the ancient goddess of the night. Even the king of the gods, Zeus, was impressed by her grandeur. Homer, the famous Greek poet, called her the subduer of gods and men. Sometimes she appears in the stories riding a chariot, shrouded in darkness and surrounded by stars; sometimes as a winged night goddess. Her home was the realm of Hades, the underworld where the dead resided.
Nyx was one of the first primordial gods, daughter of Khaos (Chaos). From her alone emerged many powerful forces, including the three Fates and the personifications of Sleep, Death, Strife, and Pain. In partnership with Erebos (Darkness), she gave birth to Aither (Light) and Hemera (Day).
Nyx embodies everything associated with night and darkness: mystery, peace, but also fear and the unknown that dwells in the shadows. Sleep, dreams, and death fall under her sway. She is a silent, mysterious force, deeply intertwined with existence. Her story reflects the ancient Greek vision of the eternal balance between day and night.
