Handmade soaps are gentle and moisturizing for your skin. This makes them a plastic-free alternative to shower gel. Our ingredients are carefully selected. We use vegetable fats (with the exception of the soap with beeswax), natural dyes, and essential oils. Unlike industrially produced soaps, we leave the moisturizing ingredient glycerin in our soap. Glycerin is a natural substance created during the saponification process and has the ability to attract and retain moisture. This makes glycerin very moisturizing for your skin. Glycerin is a popular ingredient in cosmetic products. Therefore, it is often removed from industrially produced soap and sold separately. This gives soap the reputation of being "drying." This is completely unjustified, because handmade soap is actually very good for your skin!
